Cookbook author and founder of Grits Bits, Diane Pfeifer, has had a varied career including as a lead guitarist in an all-girl rock band, as a pharmaceutical chemist, a backup singer for Tammy Wynette, a country music songwriter, a recording artist on Capitol Records, and as a commercial actress and voice-over talent. She’s written and self-published five cookbooks, plus humorous parenting books co-written with her husband. Her latest adventure and company, Grits Bits, is based in Atlanta, GA.
