Sewing Pants (Beginners II): June 16th - July 7th, 2026

Regular price $145.00

This is a 4 week in-person machine sewing course that will be held in our sewing area at Community on Tuesday evenings with a maximum class size of 6 students.

While this is a beginners level class, students are required to have a basic understanding of how to use their sewing machine and have the knowledge covered in our Beginners I course. The teacher will guide them through the process of making a pair of pants (with interior pockets!) using one of Community's pattern (wide leg pants with elastic waist). If you don't yet know how to use your machine, please sign up for our Beginners Sewing Course.

Supplies are not included in the price of the course. **You are responsible for bringing your own sewing machine and supplies.** You will receive a supply list from the instructor at least five days before the course begins.

The instructor, Evelyn Russell, is a redesigner and seamstress at Community. She is studying Fashion Merchandising and Fabric Design at the University of Georgia and is pursuing a career in sustainable textiles and fashion and sells her own clothing line EUDOXA at Community.
