It is available to ages 18+ with a maximum class size of 6 students.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWhat to expect: In this sewing course, you will learn how to perform simple alterations on your own clothing. You will learn hemming, taking in, and letting out around the waist or bust of garments to customize the fit for you. We will go over techniques such as the ladder stitch, where and how to seam rip, blind hemming, backstitch, etc\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eWhat you’ll need: Please bring a few garments that you would like to alter.\u003c\/span\u003e\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003e\u003cspan\u003eThe instructor, Evelyn Russell, works at Community as a redesigner and seamstress.
