This is a limited edition mask collection featuring photo print fabric that was designed by Sanni Baumgärtner for Community Service, and digitally printed on organic cotton fabric. The images of lichen, moss, and tree bark were taken in the Blue Ridge Mountains by Athens photographer Ian McFarlane. The images of rust, sand, wall, and light on water were taken by Sanni on Tybee Island on the Georgia coast.
Our fabric face masks are following CDC guidelines for protective masks that help prevent spread of the corona virus. We use two layers of woven cotton fabric. Filters and/or protective material can be inserted in the pocket between the two layers to provide additional protection.
About the masks:
-especially comfortable for long term wear
-fits a variety of sizes
-made from two layers of 100% cotton material and elastic jersey ties
-measures 8" wide by 6.5" long (when stretched)
-has pipe cleaner sewn into top for shaping around the nose
-has a pocket where filters or other protective material can be inserted
-masks can be machine washed and tumble dried. This might cause the pipe cleaners to twist and shift. You can straighten them back out by running your fingers over them. They can then be moved back into place. For best results, hand wash and air dry in direct sunlight.
