August: 1000 Faces Coffee’s Bell’s Blend
Every month Community hand picks a new coffee from a Georgia based coffee roaster. Our Georgia Coffee of the Month features 12 ounces of your choice of either whole bean or ground, freshly roasted coffee.
This month we are excited to feature the Bell’s Blend from Athens’ own, 1000 Faces Coffee!
This blend is designed to be your everyday go-to for lovers of classic coffee flavors. It shines across every brew method and every milk and sugar addition you could dream of. This urgent variation of Bell’s consists of the following blends;
50% Mirim - a smaller (14 /15) screen size blend from a group of families living in the Serra do Cigano Valley. This includes coffee from many familiar faces we’ve had as single origins offerings in the past, like Jacon & Santos, Ze Pato, etc. - sourced through Fazenda Ambiental Fortaleza (FAF).
50% Los Santos - a regional blend of coffees from an indigenous community in Chimaltenango, Guatemala - sourced through Beneficio Bella Vista.
1000 Faces Coffee is represented by a group of folks who are passionate about coffee and are passionate about being nice to people. From the beginning, 1000 Faces Coffee has been working in partnership with the two most important ends of the 1000 Faces Spectrum: the grower and the customer. In their own words, "it is this partnership that is at the foundation for real economic sustainability for not just us, but all parties involved. We believe that respect for geographic origin, direct relationships, and ecological awareness is the basis for creating a more sustainable coffee culture."
